If you need to report an act of cruelty, neglect or concern about the welfare of an animal, call the 24-hour national cruelty and advice line on 0300 1234 999. Please do not report cruelty to us as our enquiries desk is only manned during office hours.

Lost Animals

We may have your lost pet in our centre, telephone us to find out if it is here. If your pet is microchipped you will receive a phone call from us, we keep a register of lost and found animals and the details are placed on a website. Tel. 01482 341331

Lost Dogs

We do not take in lost or stray dogs. Your local council is responsible for these animals and after they have collected the dogs they are scanned in case they are microchipped and can be returned to the owner. If an owner is not found the dogs are taken to the Dog Wardens Kennels. If you have lost your dog please telephone your local Dog Warden, in Hull 01482 300300, in the East Riding 01482 396301. Unfortunately your pet may have had an accident. Make enquiries with us on 01482 341331, your local vet, the Dog Wardens, the police or sadly in the case of a fatal accident the cleansing department at your local council.
